1. Tarzan in Kronstadt.
Once in 1995, a prominent gangster from America, Leonid Fainberg (Lesha-Tarzan), arrived in St. Petersburg on business. Lyosha, the son of a guild worker from Chernivtsi, was a versatile person. He shared the strip club in Miami with Jap, engaged in racketeering, smuggling cigarettes, and importing prostitutes from the former USSR.
Lesha-Tarzan.
In America, Lech had a good friend - Fernando Birbraer. Fernando worked with the Colombian mafia and knew the leaders of the largest drug cartels. With the help of Fernando, Lech established another profitable business: he delivered cocaine to St. Petersburg in packages of frozen shrimp. True, the little things: 40-50 kg at a time. He took shrimp from another good friend - the authority of Misha Brave from the Tambov organized crime group.
Lesha-Tarzan in St. Petersburg. No, it's him on the field trip. Shrimps were transported on another ship.
In 1995, Lesha-Tarzan arrived in St. Petersburg not just like that, but on a special mission. Back in 1993, he helped the Medellin Cartel buy six Mi-8 helicopters in Russia. Now the Colombian guys from another cartel (Cali) wanted to buy in Russia ... a submarine to transport cocaine.
In general, mini-submarines for the transport of drugs ("drug-submarines") appeared in the early 1990s. But they took on board little cargo and often could not dive completely (a small cabin remained above the water). In short, customers from Colombia wanted to buy something more serious. The team and the captain were supposed to be hired on the spot from the Russian retirees.
With such exciting plans, Lyokha-Tarzan came to St. Petersburg. Met as a native. First decided on shrimp. Authority Misha Brave said that the Tambovskys in St. Petersburg gave cocaine to dealers at the rate of $ 60,000 per kilogram. Therefore, Misha was ready to take it from Tarzan for 30 thousand each. Lech was happy: he took it for 4000 each. True, with shipment to Colombia or Ecuador, from where the white powder still had to be taken out and transported to the other end of the world.
Then we went to the submarines. Misha said that they can be bought in Kronstadt, where the Tambovskys had their own people. Let's go to Kronstadt to see the goods.
Lesha-Tarzan in Kronstadt.
A consultant on the purchase of a submarine was a peasant in his years, whom the lads respectfully called "Misha-Admiral." It was an old submariner with 30 years of experience, a former captain of a Soviet submarine. Lyokha was delighted. In his youth, he served three years in the Israeli Navy as a simple sailor on a destroyer. But to meet the whole admiral - this is the first time.
Misha-Admiral recommended Tarzan to take the “Piranha” - a mini-boat for sabotage operations. It could be converted into a civilian version and issued as a vessel for "oceanographic research." The admiral advised Tarzan and his Colombian "oceanographers" to approach the US from the Pacific coast. There anti-submarine defense is weaker, if that.
Who is Misha-Admiral revealed in 1997 at the trial of Lesha-Tarzan in America. His real name is Mikhail Borisovich Magarshak. Below is his old photo (1981), where he is still a captain of the first rank, the front of the 1st flotilla of submarines of the Northern Fleet.
The Piranha boat that Misha Admiral offered was good, but expensive (it was the newest series). Tarzan asked if there was anything cheaper. Then he was offered to buy an old diesel Foxtrot (project 641).
These boats are 1960s. went under decommissioning. A few pieces in the 1990s. were sold to overseas maritime museums in the USA and Australia. The boat was outdated, but if desired, could still walk along the seas. The last active Foxtrot (submarine Zaporozhye) in the world was part of the Ukrainian Navy back in 2014.
The submarine of the Foxtrot series had an autonomy of 90 days, a cruising range of up to 30 thousand miles. And if you remove the torpedoes - up to 40 tons of cocaine on board. It would be a revolution in the world drug trade. They asked for $ 20 million for Foxtrot. As a result, they bargained for 5. Preparations for the deal began. Tarzan asked Misha Admiral to find a crew for the world's first cocaine military flotilla of the Navy of the Kali cartel.
2. A window to Colombia.
Alas, the ingenious idea to remake the Soviet strike submarine into a bulk carrier did not reach completion. The authority of Brava, who promised Tarzan to take cocaine in his thirties, was soon killed. Without him, Lech lost an important contact in St. Petersburg. In addition, it turned out that all of his negotiations on submarines and shrimp had long and with great interest been listened to elsewhere - in the DEA (US Drug Enforcement Administration).
The fact is that all this time Tarzan walked with a mobile phone, which was presented to him by a person from his close circle, a DEA agent. This phone, not only was it tapped, it was also with a constantly activated microphone. Those. Tarzan went around the clock with a bug.
In January 1997, he was arrested in America. Presented a whole bunch (30 episodes): arms, drugs, racketeering, pimping, etc.
Then a new version appeared : he was not going to buy a submarine at all. I just took the money from the Kali cartel and wanted to steal it:
Pablo Escobar, the leader of the Medellin, and his famous rubber bands for money.
But the Cali cartel was cooler than Pablo Escobar. Therefore, the stories of Tarzan, how he was going to breed them and throw them, did not convince the American court. Ultimately, in the face of the threat of a huge prison term, Tarzan made a deal with the authorities: he surrendered his connections in South America (they were very interested in the DEA) and was released after only three years. After some time, he really sat down again, but that's another story.
The trial of Tarzan made a splash in the United States, all the major media wrote about him. From an article in the Washington Times on May 25, 2001:
The New York Times, Sunday December 3, 2000. A fragment from an article by the famous journalist of this newspaper, Kirk Sample, “Submarine Around the Corner”:
Tarzan himself later in an interview with the Russian publication "Big City" confirmed this:
They transported cocaine in tons and without any submarines.
The city of Cali in western Colombia. Bandit brother of St. Petersburg.
3. Department for combating ill-organized crime.
General Aulov.
Petersburg authority Roma Tsepov, a good friend of Putin and Aulov, in the 1990s. bought a crust officer RUBOP. He type worked in the department for the development of leaders of criminal communities (which he himself was). So Roma called RUBOP “the department for combating ill-organized crime.” In the sense that they, of course, fought with the bandits, but only with those who did not detach them.
But back to the department for combating ill-organized crime. This joke of Roma Tsepov - what is called, not in the eyebrow, but in the eye. Many years later, in March 2016, the leader of the Tambov organized crime group Vladimir Kumarin (Kum), while in prison, gave an interview to the media. Among other things, he was asked if he knows General Aulov and what he thinks of him? Kum answered:
“I know Aulov well, from his captain’s times, from the time when the first ton of cocaine was transported through the Vyborg in cans of stew. "There was a meeting with Aulov in 1992-1993, at which (as I understand it) he hinted to me that I take the drugs under control, arguing that anyone who takes control of it will receive a lot of money . "
Qom in the best years. There is no one arm - it was just amputated after the attempt on 1994.
In fact, in an interview from prison, Kumarin said the following:
In general, a rather bold interview for a person serving a 15-year term. In August 2016, 4 and a half months after these revelations, Kumu will be added another sentence and 15 years will turn into 23. He is now 60, in fact it is life.
In prison, he surrendered greatly and had nothing to lose.
4. Urban Chekists.
From the materials of the court in the case of Litvinenko:
And everything was fine with them until this Litvinenko appeared. Litvinenko is also a Chekist, from Moscow, from Lubyanka, a former lieutenant colonel of the Ural Federal District Federal Security Service (FSB) (department for the development and suppression of criminal associations). By type of service, he was well versed in the affairs of Russian organized crime, including St. Petersburg.
Erysipelas, of course, in these KGB ghouls. What the artist has, what the customer ...
Ilya Ilyich Traber, nicknamed "Antiquary":
Traber is the leader of the Vyborg brigade of the Tambov organized criminal group. The old honored smuggler who was personally acquainted with Sobchak, Putin, Gref and the whole Petersburg top. Traber is the owner of the Vyborg district from the beginning of the 90s to this day. Everyone who was opposed has long been in the graves. It is unlikely that Kum would have smuggled cocaine through Vyborg, bypassing Antiquar.
At the same time, this gentleman was the second person in Traber’s gang and his right hand:
This is Viktor Borisovich Korytov, a security officer from the Leningrad KGB. In 1992, he quit his organs and joined the Traber’s gang, providing him with power support through the private security firm VIAB (Victor-Ilya-Alexander-Boris). These are 4 main persons in the Traber’s gang at that time: Viktor Korytov, Ilya Traber, Alexander Ulanov, Boris Sharikov.
Korytov still had two good friends in the KGB service:
5. Colombian stew.
On February 21, 1993, at the customs post "Torfyanovka" near Vyborg, a truck was detained, moving from Finland to St. Petersburg. Officially, he was carrying Blony canned meat made in Colombia. On the banks was written "Meat and Potatoes." However, a cargo check showed that instead of the stew, the jars contained cocaine packed in plastic bags. Additionally, the container was processed with vinegar to confuse the dogs.
The cocaine in the cargo was 1,092 kilograms (!), I.e. ton with hook. The news spread over all the media, including overseas. The then head of the Federal Security Service of St. Petersburg and Putin's old KGB friend Viktor Cherkesov made a statement to the press: they say that an unprecedented batch of cocaine was detained for Russia, and all thanks to the vigilance of the Chekists, customs officers, etc.

Deliveries were large, in tons, and the Belgian police were actively trying to find out who was behind it. It soon became clear that in Colombia, the shipping of cocaine was managed by a certain Elias Kogan, an Israeli citizen, married to the daughter of a local drug lord.

7. Petersburg branch.
8. “Russian video”.
In the historical part of Vyborg there is an old house of the 16th century at the address: st. Fortress, d.8
Dmitry Rozhdestvensky (center).
This concern included one and a half dozen companies with the same name that did everything: television, video piracy, pornography, cashing out, cutting budget money for the mayor's office, smuggling in especially large ones (they had a naval base at the port of Lomonosov for rent).
“In the 1990s, Putin oversaw the port of Lomonosov, it was a military base where he had“ his “admiral. And through this hole, hundreds, maybe thousands of tons of goods were imported and exported daily without any clearance. There was no customs, no border guards, or counterintelligence. It's ridiculous! Cocaine in St. Petersburg was like a tooth powder. Generally everywhere. Even in Smolny with especially nimble guys (...) the very same port of Lomonosov formally belonged to the Russian Video company, which was controlled, on the one hand, by Kumarin, but was managed by Mikhail Mirilashvili. "
Mikhail Mirilashvili (Misha Kutaisi). Nowadays - one of the richest people in Russia and Israel.

1. The case of Sobchak
2. The struggle for the 11th TV channel.
Mayor Sobchak, an empty narcissistic demagogue
Which for many years was a political screen for the Chekists and criminals who really controlled the city.
In addition to Sobchak, the 11th television channel of St. Petersburg became the second source of problems for Russian Video. It belonged to the Russian Video and in 1997 it was sold to the oligarch Gusinsky, which not everyone liked in the Kremlin either. Searches, interrogations, tax audits were in full swing.
Vladimir Gusinsky (left). In Soviet times - a card sharpie, a KGB informant, in the 1990s - a media magnate.
When they began to dig seriously under the "Russian Video", then there began ... an epidemic of death among employees. Moreover, among those who were associated with information about any illegal operations. Unwanted witnesses were attacked by a real plague.
From the memoirs of D. Zapolsky:
A retired colonel is Vladimir Grunin, which was discussed above. As for heart failure in completely healthy people ... Then it was not yet known about Graceful Helsemium - a rare flower from China that, when added to tea, causes a heart attack during the first physical exertion.
It looks really elegant.
Then witnesses in the Magnitsky case drank a seagull with him, the organizers of the substitution of urine samples at the Olympics in Sochi. At the time when Zapolsky worked on the "Russian video", gelzemium, apparently, was tested on its employees.
Thanks to all these killings, as well as to Sobchak’s “treatment” abroad (which, incidentally, involved not only Putin, but also Nemtsov, he was the author of this idea), the Russian Video case died out. One director, Rozhdestvensky, went to prison, did not sit long, and when he left there, he soon died (of course, from a heart attack).
Nemtsov, I think, then again and again regretted that he went to Yeltsin to ask for Sobchak under investigation. If they planted Sobchak, there would be no Putin. They would have brought to the end the “Russian Video” case - the whole company of Petersburg security officers would have sat down, whom he had dragged to the Kremlin in the 2000s. And most importantly, Boris Efimovich would be alive.
And so - they put on the throne a whip who was solving issues for the Tambov lads in the city hall of Peter. Shnyr became a godfather and began to behave accordingly. How else?
9. Epilogue.
In 2014, the book of a professor at the University of Miami, Karen Davish, was published in America: "Putin's Kleptocracy: Who Owns Russia."
The book is the fruit of many years of scientific research on the origin and nature of the Putin regime in the Russian Federation. In November 2014, in an interview with Radio Liberty, Karen Davisha said :
Karen Davisha, of course, is a professor and expresses himself in a scientific way: the seizure of power and wealth by representatives of the special services with the support of organized crime figures. One could say simpler: the seizure of power by the Chekist snows of the Tambov organized crime group.
